Ur truck makes me miss my 01 ecsb z71 gmc. It was green also and my first truck... I couldn't think of mods to do to it(I was 16) but seein urs makes me kick my self in the ass for sellin it.

2 AA SMD 18's could probly do the same... But u would need more amps lol

Only deadning i will be installing is roof and a little patch behind each mid range

Im pretty much dead set on 4 15s
Not sure if im going SSA,SA,RE,I,DC
The saz 2500 @.5 ohm should clamp 3k or more

The SMDs would get loud,havent looked at them much as last i checked i could never find where to buy them
Cone area wins everytime
I really want 150s out the truck,which isnt to hard these days 52-53s would be ideal
 
The smds do get loud. But u have to have atleast 4k on each sub to do anything. I would look at the FI BL and BTL line, sundown SA and NS line and the DC audio level 3's 4's and 5's. U could do 150's with 4 15's in a extended cab easy. You goin with a ported box? I know some guys do a sealed wall. I hate sealed boxes IMO

Also look at the zv3 sundown line. Those are nice. I might be doin 4 10's under my seat if I can

6 8's would be tight. Idt it would sound nearly as close to 4 15's though. And layin frame?!?! :nono:

Yes must get it on the ground

Dont under estimate those 8s my buddy has a single SA 8 areo ported doing 147-48s

Probally still stick with the 15s

The lows would be louder and harder with the 15's
