Welcome! Have any pictures of your front fender wells? How you trimmed or rolled the edges?
I would run 275/40 or 245/45 if I were you..they are basically the same height but the 245/45s are not as wide
Then jared will tell more irrellevant stories...and ban you for posting pics of your favorite friendly awesome spider pals
admin abuse has never been more fun than when it's aimed at an overly tall fgt who has an identity crisis with his DD every week.
Cool gotcha, are either one of those going to lower it more? I like the height its at lol, I like the look of a good size tire and not rubber bands so I don't mind doing fender work to make em fit
They are gonna be a little shorter..you could run a 275/45/20 but like jimmy said he had them and wished he had gone smaller..I had them on mine and had very little rubbing but if I went with oem 20s again I would run 245/45s or 275/40s for the extra clearance
Would a 255/45 be a good middle ground?? the prices for that size are actually even cheaper!
not really sure, was thinking maybe yokohama prada spec X, they seem to have pretty good reviews on tire rack! and thanks!what brand tires are you wanting? truck looks good i love red
awesome, that seems like a good choice then, i think thats the route im going to go!255/45 would be a good size too, it's about 3/4" shorter than a 275/45 and a little over a 1/4" taller than 245/45
I was rubbing a little up front when I would hit dips or good size bumps but I wasn't mini tubbed or rolled
I ran 255/40/20 on my truck at around 4/8 and not one bit of rubbing at all. Good sized tire imo for a static drop.
cool cool gotcha, that seems like kinda a small tire though! Did the sidewalls look okay with that drop?
