What's up everyone, new to the site from Baltimore, MD. I drive a 2006 Silverado 1500 crew cab. Slowly been building her up and getting her ready to terrorize the streets.

Not sure how to upload pics so if someone wants to let me know I'll put some up and let you all see what I'm working with

she's not much, but I've paid for everything with it from the beginning so I'm proud of it



will be getting better pictures this week hopefully. and taking the steps off

Welcome from south jersey! Idk why, but I absolutely love that color from 06s and 07s :hng:

Truck looks good. If the wheels are plastidipped I think you should take that off. The chrome or silver (whichever ss wheel finish you have) would flow much better with the esky handles and chrome bumpers :imo:

As for fender flares, it's pretty easy. For my 00' I just took two small flathead screwdrivers and pried the head of the push pin up, then just pulled the head out then the other half. Hopefully you don't have any ghost marks under the flares

The wheels I actually bought from wheel replicas and they came powder coated black. I was thinking about taking the chrome to a satin black to match the wheels, but not sure how it would look.

Thanks for the tip on the flares. As for ghost marks, I got lucky when I took the molding off and there was no marks or fading anywhere so hopefully I'll be lucky with the flares too. If so, I'm pretty good with a buffer or wet-sanding if I need to
 
Yeah I usually can only go once every couple years. Nice, makes it a lot easier having a guaranteed place to stay down there, the hotels get crazy especially for the cruise weeks. My buddy's parents have a house down in west OC that we usually stay in when we all go down
