My '01 ECSB Slow Build

First problem I had was the truck bounced off the Rev limiter and didn't go into 3rd, did it to me again going to second just spun over and didn't shift until I let off and then u could've feel the shift or anything. Drove it around the neighborhood once the next day, low speed not giving it much gas did the same thing. Erratic shifting but not all the time just random.
Cranked it up today sitting in park at idle and after about 8-10 minutes I get a noticeable hum/chatter noise coming from right where the torque converter is.

So, I didn't have time to wait to ship my trans off and all of that. After 8 days it had not been picked up and I really want the truck back together now. So I went and got it and got with a buddy of mine and gave him the Trans to build it. He works for a local transmission shop and he has 3 vehicles of his own that he built 4l60e's for. One 550hp, one 400+, and one bolt on 6.0 truck that tows a car every weekend. The truck has 80k miles on the build, no issues, the 550hp car has 3 years and 60 passes on it with spray running in the 10s dangerously close to 9s, no issues. Other one has plenty of miles on it too. And he built 60es for 5 other people that I know with cammed/stalled/etc trucks that beat on them with no issues. So I trust him.
I should have the Trans back early next week. Here's pics of my beautiful billet Circle D 5C (4000 stall) that I just recieved.

Put it all back together with a freshly built trans and the 4000 stall. She's alive!
The line pressure is turned up in the Trans and needs to be set to stock in the tune before I drive it. So I'm gonna bring my pcm to the tuner on Monday and I'll be driving it Monday afternoon when I get home! I'm anxious

Installed a GlowShift 7 color tinted trans temp gauge with the Cubby Cam mount that goes where the airbag switch was. Works great I love it

Truck runs soooo much better with the 4000 stall! Very impressive. I'm gonna upload a WOT video to YouTube and I'll post the link here. Also drives real nice even just cruising. I'm very happy with the new trans and converter. This 4.8 screams.
