As with anything, you get what you pay for. Maaco has everything from shitty $200 jobs, to actual quality paint jobs. It's all in the prep, and the quality you are willing to pay for. My paint/body guy has actually done the prep, and sent some of our stuff to Maaco on the things we buy to fix up and resell because they can paint so much cheaper than he can, stuff we care more about he will do the paint instead, even so, my dad's DD was painted at Maaco 2 years ago and still looks great with only a simple cheap single stage and no wax since. But yea, I put that as a joke initially.
Just do the prep yourself and drop it off at a body shop to be painted :imo:, that's what I did with all of my stuff and it turned out great.
i have a few friends that work at body shops so its no big deal for me to get shit painted. im just lazy. and cheap
Im not even sure where the closest macco to flemington is. I live pretty close to flower hill right of rt 12 but never been there. There are some other places further down rt 12, that are real small but I know kens body shop is just bad, they screwed up my dads car and my moms expedition
