Marc new LBZ sort of a Build thread

Ah that works I am planning on mounting my second remote in the box so when I don't have my keys I can still open it. Also going to mount a fire extinguisher and some sort of tool box back there to hold the stuff that is currently under the rear seat.

so i picked these wheels up mostly just to flip since i got them with 6 tires for $750.00 and the tread is decent at 6/32nd.
i am going to mount these up on my truck at some point see if they fit with me being at like 40" fender measurements.

they are a 20x10 diesel with 33x12.5x20 toyo m/t.

thanks i am not sure weather to flip them, or just sell the tires get the rims powder-coated a semi dark silver metallic and put on some 305/50/20 cooper zeon's

the powder colour would be the same as what i am going with for some stuff under the hood.
 
so i got a quote from a shop for what is going to happen when i am in Ontario for 2 weeks at Christmas.

$450.00 for transgo JR with new fluids and filters
$625.00 for tie rods (cognito not sure if he will change that to rare parts tie-rods)
$500.00 on transfercase pump rub kit with seals
$360.00 to put new seals in my front diff out put shafts.
 
Marc don't go with cognito tie rods they have all kinds of problems

asked if he could change it, if not ill do them my self since its easy. and would take me like an hour with the right tools and then bring in for alignment.

yeah nvm not going to get him to do tie rods.

this is what the shop will be doing.

$279.00 for rare parts tie-rods.
$500.00 edge insight with EGT probe.

dude transyd fluid is $120.00 here to fill my trans, and $50 for filters, the kit is $100.00 i dont mind paying $180.00 for install cause he has done like 50 of them so far.

and i dont have use of a lift to do it my self.

lol i dont wanna do it my self he said he makes a little round pool with rags and already puts floor dry down before he pulls the pan...DNW to do that in driveway.
