They are easy to make.

I agree with this. Check diesel place. TONS of how to's on making traction bars for only $150 tops and u most likely have half the stuff laying around. Just need to find some spare time.

so need some opinions on wheels. im going with a 22x9. just cant decide if i want chrome and to keep my bumpers chrome and colormatch the rest of the truck or do black wheels and colormatch everything.

i really wish these came in black because i love these wheels for some reason but this is why im considering chrome

or open to other choices. havnt searched a ton but first decent ones i saw

It's so hard finding a good looking 8 lug wheel for a lowered application (that isn't a billet). I think those ones are one of the best looking he's mentioned.
