Small update, but an update non the less. Raised the bumper today, I planned on putting the exhaust on this weekend but it isn't here yet :nono:
Wasn't too horrible to do, but sucked at the same time. Ended up using bolts 2" longer than the factory ones, and 30 washers per side for the spacers. Credit goes to Cornell for the how-to thread :shake:
During the test fitting, seeing how many washers are needed, used tape to hold the washers together. Got that idea from IluvJDM on the other site.
Getting closer, still have the side brackets to re-install and adjust
And done, still could use a little more height on the ends, but I'm happy with it until I re-drill new holes for the side brackets.
:shake: Yeah I probably could have used bigger washers and used less of them, but at that point they were gonna work and I wanted to get it done with lol
Exhaust showed up today. Hopefully installing this sometime soon, hard to find time during the week. Shot all the hangers with pb blaster along with the downpipe/front pipe connection tonight, so it's a start.
Do you have ratcheting closed end wrench? I can't remember if I needed to or if I got half way and realized I didn't need to, but the hanger that comes off the trans has a mile of thread and if i didn't have one that would have been a bitch.
But like I said I can't remember if I actually needed to take it off or what.. Something in that area is a bitch though haha
