Pulled my dash last week and decided to strip it to black. based off recommendations in the nbs interior thread, I used thinner on a rag and let it set for a minute before wiping it away, then hitting the spot with soapy water. Long story short, and a lot of frustration later, my dash was bleached white from the thinner.
Said fuck it, had my dad mix some primer and shot it:
No finished pics of it, it came out like shit. I figure I'll leave it be til I get sick of looking at it, then buy a new one.
I organized all of my parts today into one cart.
For Tony:
Yes I gave in and bought paint. What that means is my bed is getting fixed, tailgate shaved, and whatever is left over will go to colormatching my valance and mirrors.
Pic of the front end last night:
I also snagged new headlights, fogs, and an overhead console on eGay this weekend. I also am absolutely DONE spending money on shit for this thing. The only exception may be an updated intermediate steering shaft because that is getting on my nerves bad now...
And as of now, the list of parts waiting to go on in 3 weeks:
2" McG coils, 2"McG spindles, 6" McG flip & notch, belltech sp shocks, new poly swaybar & leaf spring bushings from energy suspension, moog upper & lower bj's, 18" magnaflow, trick flow diff cover, tranny service, rear end service, seafoam, and undercoat anything I can see.
Just got my K&N and AirRaid MIT from BBP last week also and got them installed too. So looking forward to getting this stuff out of the garage and on the truck already. Then it is time to save for 20's and Nitto's next summer
