Alright, I've been wanting to start this for a while. Finally getting around to moving parts, and ordering things. You guys will have to bare with me as this is a whole new area for me. I've decided to lower my truck. So input and help is quite appreciated. Alright.

1 year ago I rolled her off the lot with 17 miles. Within a week I had oem Z71 18's on it, windows tinted, and my bowties blacked out.

Eventually I bought a leveling kit for it and lifted the front end 3" and immediately bought 33" MT's.

Around Christmas I added a pioneer double din, with 2 Kenwood 10's in bedlinered proboxes, and a 900w pioneer amp. Over the bed tool box was next.
And so she sits today.

Well, I finally woke up and realized that it's 2 wheel drive, and a v6. So I started looking at lowered nnbs. Now it's happening. hoping to do a 4/6 or 5/8 drop. Assuming the latter would require a notch.

Future mods:
In bed flush mount toolbox
Folding bed cover
Shaved tailgate
HD grille
Fog lights (already have caps just need lights and wiring)
black housing headlights (retrofit eventually)
20" oem Ltz wheels
Color matching
Eventually possible bags

Taking wheels and leveling kit off tonight and swapping rear shocks with a buddy. Possibly pulling the blocks on the rear as well.

looking at this... whats the difference between the two? and why would the 7 be cheaper than the 6?

4/7 http://www.tbssowners.com/store/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=177
4/6 TBSSowners.com Store - DJM 4/6 Kit for 07 Up GM Truck (Powered by CubeCart)

because the 6 requires a lifting hanger. A flip kit will put you at 7, the extra cost comes with the hanger to lift it up to 6 which you do not need. A single cab you will more than likely eventually go lower than 7, so you will be find with just the 4/7 kit for now till you go lower.

i have no clue about lowering i am sure you could but the axle would basically touching the frame so you would bottom out every 2 seconds

I'm flipped 7" in the rear without a notch. Only bottom out on huge dips/potholes or if loaded down in the rear. If you haul a ton then you'll need helper bags down the road.

Yeah 4/7 will be perfect dd low. I'm only going 3/6 bc fuk LA roads around here.

Oklahoma has the worst roads I've ever driven on.

That's only because you havn't driven through Shreveport  Even with shit roads 4/7 with my factory 20's is plenty daily drive able. Sure some potholes sucks and I have to slow down going into some places but it's not much worse than driving a low car or something

I need to let it settle then try and get another inch out of the front.
