I hate the stock frame. Its ugly. I was gonna do just the back half but i wanted to body drop it. So I decided to go with a new frame instead of cutting the floor of the cab up too

imo is the way to go for bodying to keep the floor stockish... i actually want to put chassis in cab to actually lay door

It was a pain in my ass just getting the truck perfectly level. My floor is level, however its got subtle dips and waves. Didnt realize it until my measurements started being inconsistent. Thankfully I caught on early enough to come up with a solution.

we have a "jig" basically a lifted section of flooring with MDF sheets thats been all leveled out with a good flatness, plus being raised its not too bad working on the frame cause dont gotta be all the way to your toes

Got that right... I would have done it different if I knew what I was getting into... I would have made it so the truck wasn't down so long and I could drive it... but I want it done right and so I havent hack it back together.

Yea if I was doing it more often or had a bigger shop I'd def build a jig or raised level floor.
