What ginger said, one of my factory prjectors practically fell out and the other I had to put the light in the oven to get it's glue to separate. But the retro it totally worth it!
 
Mini h1 7.0's are almost ready for release... Have the sane mounting points as the 6.0, but I'm interested to see if the bowls are very similar.

I was talking to Matt about that the other day, with the mounting points being the same he said it should drop right in. He said the bowls are different than the 6.0 but not drastically different. He's going to ship me a set out as soon as they are available.

:nice: I'll run these 5.0s for a good long while I'm sure. I have no basis for comparison really other than my mom's charger with factory HID projectors and my Cobra with halogen projectors and hids. But I'm impressed with the denalis now that they're adjusted properly. Then I'll step up to the 7.0s if they fit

Good pattern overall, decent cutoff, good spread too. Interested to see the difference. I wanna learn how to do it to tho Tony, so I'll either slowly tinker with them or get you to help me if we can ever get our schedules to work together lol
 
Yeah, that's cool. The new 7.0 beam is actually wider than the S2000 projectors and they are one of if not the widest projectors made. That says a LOT about an aftermarket projector with a "cheap" H1 bulb. Hopefully around mid/late December they should be shipping. :fingerscrossed:
 
I have the 5.0s in my denalis and Im pretty happy with them. They are pretty wide, but I know the 6.0 are MUCH wider. If you have the denalis and a HID kit in there now, the 5.0s are a HUGE difference.
 
Sweet. Can't wait. Just gotta find the time. Saturday is a dedicated vehicle work day, my buddy is gonna buff and polish my dad's mustang, I'm gonna try to get my truck washed/resealed, put my cv's in and front shocks, and maybe clean/paint my frame. We'll see what actually happens tho
