Couldn't find a good write up on this so I thought I would make one
Tools you will need:
Flat head screw driver
Needle nose pliers
Tube of clear rtv silicone
Clean towel
And clean work surface
Start by removing parking lights from your truck and taking to a clean work area.
Next take your flat head screw driver and pry the clear lens away from the inside, be sure to move around and don't pry to hard in one spot until the factory silicone is loosened up or it may break the lens..if you have a heat gun it may help but I didn't use one and had the light apart in about 10-15 minutes
Keep working your way around until you get the clear lens free
Next take your screw driver and pop the orange reflector out
Now you will need your needle nose pliers, pick out the factory silicone so that the lens will fit back together tight..
Next is the silicone
Put a thick bead all the way around..
Clean up your clear lens making sure to keep all moisture and dirt out
Replace the clear lens and put a thick bead of silicone around the outside..
Let them dry, the silicone I used takes and hour to tack off and 24 hours to fully cure..
And the finished product
