Some know, a lot don't care, I picked up a 2000 Civic Si.
It has a rebuilt B16A2, stock it's a screamer 8k redline and makes most of the power north of 6k. Injen short ram intake, not sure on brand but it has a 4-2-1 2 piece header, no cat, unknown catback with a MagnaFlow muffler and a stainless tip. DC front strut tower bar also an unbranded rear tower bar still in the plastic was in the trunk. Has a dual bend short throw shifter that to be honest is probably an eBay special. Lowered on Neuspeed Race springs so around 2" drop, Tokico blue struts and some EM Racing lower rear control arms(Skunk2 knockoffs). Wheels I can't even find on Google but they are 16x7 +40 offset, tinted windows with a fairly deep brow, tinted factory replacement headlights and a Pioneer cd player. Car is kind of a basket case but a definite diamond in the rough, basically it's a step up Honda version of the 88. Needs some work power steering, a/c, throw out bearing are the big mechanical things and the interior is going to get completely removed and every clip replaced because everything rattles. Left fender is primered right now, the bumper is unpainted (replaced by previous owner), hood needs replaced and clear on the roof is failing. Guy understood the car needed work so I got a pretty decent deal on it.
Immediate plans are, tires (needs them ASAP), roll the fenders, get it mechanically sound, get rid of as many squeaks and rattles as I can, paint it, put the fog lights on (new in the plastic full kit in a box in the trunk) and something for a stereo. Long term I'd like coilovers, brake upgrade, turbo for around 300ish hp. The only thing I really know what I want to do is the stereo, I'll probably piece it together. Plans is Kenwood DDX374bt, Crescendo Symphony 6.5 components up front and 6x9 coaxs out back, Ampere AA-75.4 ( possibly AA-150.4) and AA-1200.1 amps, pair of American Bass TNT 10s, sound deadening, pair of XS batteries, bigger alternator (either a Mechman or Singer).
I'll get a couple underhood pictures tomorrow.
