gmc sierra headlights

MAtt look at the pictures.

option 1 and 2 are projectors that you can update with the projectors above

option 3 is just a cleared factory style normal housing. you cant put projectors in a normal housing without a ton of work, they only go in a projector style housing like 1 and 2

NO NO NO! Seriously I have seen it done on HIDplanet. Its actually easier than projector headlights cause you don't need plates. You open them up as if you were to clear them then you take your projector insert it into the 9006 hole. Align the beam tighten the lock nut, put a shroud on and re seal the lights. Then the bulb clips in from the back just like the factory 9006 bulb

The 'burban lights look the best, and you get the lowers too. But option 1 has projectors. Decide whether or not you want to run projectors and that should make your decision a little easier. Definitely not Option 2 though.

I really want projectors but that's going to be an extra 260 for just the projectors

No? I just spent $155 at the retrofit source for projectors, relay harnesses, high beam splitters, bulbs, and resealing glue.

Don't need shrouds with options 1&2. Morimoto mini H1 6.0 projectors are the only ones that fit easily with Ginger's brackets he made.

Option 3 would need to be opened up and the mini h1's mounted inside. The only reason option 3 would be viable is the lens is clear without any of those grooves cut into them like your current stockers.

If you put projectors in stockers or option 3 you will have to do a lot off cutting and aligning. The reflector bowl is not large enough to fit the projector in the way you think it will. Options 1 and 2 are quick and easy with no messing around. Talking an hour of two to install compared to days of trial and error with an oem look a like housing.

Thanks Matt lol. And yep. Gonna suck  but. They were the cheapest I was gonna get denali's for, so I scooped them

Am I The only one who the projectors simply pop out? I'm OEM though.

One side of mine popped out fine, the other side was a HUGE bitch. Lots of heat, burning fingers and prying with screwdrivers. It kinda sucked, but totally worth it.

both of mine were that way, after the first one, you get an idea on what is the best method for it. kinda like clearing headlights.

im tempted to sell my 5.0's and plates and put 6.0's in my truck.

Of course you are :) I'll have to dig up a camera tat works in the dark and show a night shot once my 6.0's arrive and are installed.
