no. go stainless. the aluminized will rot out in 2 years. .

I'm gonna have a shop do it bc I honestly am being lazy and need the post muffle tubung bent and hung any way, so I'll let them worry about it
Lol, my dad came home with only one exhaust tip one time (he had the dual out the back flowmaster aluminized steel kit). The back of the muffler had rotted off and the pipe was dragging on the road so he ripped it off and threw it in the bed. Nothing but stainless for me haha
When are you getting it done? Did you figure out what you are going to for the tip?
This is mine dumped over the axle with 6" tip...the tip makes it much deeper and "cleaner" sounding BTW

The muffler is stainless, just not polished.
The same thing happened with my last setup, the welds rusted out from being dipped in salt water to many times and broke off at the muffler. I ended up cutting them off and welding 12" down turns right to the muffler. That was about 6 years ago.
Probably in the next few weeks, have to find the time to get it to the shop and have it fabbed up.
Its not the clearest in the picture but I went with a 12" long 4" tip. I'm gonna run it the same way yours is set up
