That's going to be your one hang up. Your going to have to take it to the dealership and have them do a vehicle theft relearn otherwise your airbags won't work.

Dang. How much will that run me? And will I need a new BCM or just use the existing one I have in my truck?
Ideally if you can get the bcm from the donor truck that's your best option. Then you just need the dealer to do the theft relearn. If I remember correctly the dealer charged me $150 for the relearn. Your stock bcm won't have the software needed for everything to work. If you want to go the new route ask the dealer if they can order you a bcm strictly off a vin. Then go to cars.com and get a vin of a fully loaded model and give that to the dealer. I personally didn't do this because I have a tech2 and tis2000 so I was able to reprogram my cluster and bcm.

Here is a harness that could work for you. It's a little pricey but it is fully loaded. Even comes with satellite radio module and the onstar module.

Damn that is pricey! Is that a normal price or could I expect to see a dash harness down lower than that?
Personally I only paid a $100 but would have paid way more if I knew it would be plug-n-play. I more or less posted that as an example
