Devious Customs Fuel Cell,Group Buy?

With a stock bed floor you cant raise the stock tank enough to get it completely off the ground. Another major upside to this tank is the fact you do not have to lengthen or change any of the fuel system. This tank is the ideal tank for anyone that is wanting to keep everything under the bed floor and doesnt want any chance of scraping through it.

However with that said, this tank is way overpriced at $500. Because they are the only people producing these tanks they have that advantage. Allowing the sale of 5 tanks to drive the price down $150~ shows that they are driving it up higher than needed.

:shake: pretty much sums everything up

Before you place an order with them hit up metal worx. The tank being shorter then the stock doesn't really make that much sense if what trevor told me is 100% accurate. He said the fuel pump needs to be fully compressed in the tank for it to read right iirc. So its around 12" tall when fully compressed. And iirc thats what my stock tank measured at height wise. to get the pump to be any shorter you would need to take the rods out and cut them.

This tank is worth no more than $400 tax shipping and everything all included. Ive seen the tank in person. It is an extremely nice product and definitely worth the investment if you plan to drive your truck a ton at lower heights.

The reason i dont have one is because of the price and the fact its only 18 gallons. Ive already raised my tank 2" in the rear and im going to raise the front 1".

A stock pump is recessed into the top on the factory tank. when you put it in this tank, it is actually above the top. Mounting on the fuel pump is right at 10" iirc.

The tank will work but you're still going to have to raise or remove the bedfloor for the tank if you bd the truck.

So it would be kind of pointless in that sense. You're already raising that part of the bedfloor for the bd. So just raise the floor 5" and do the stock tank. Or pay $400 and still raise the bedfloor 3".

To bd 3", you'll still have to cut the cab. You're going to have to cut the cab anyway for the wheels tranny, and driveshaft. I dont understand why you're trying to get around cutting dor the gas tank

i want to throw batteries under the box and stay below the window line... im already 1" from the window line i want to be able to compeat in a certian class for a local stereo comp
