i haven't updated this in a while and i'm sure everyone knows what i've done since the last update....but oh well:
since then, i've added a P-1SC-1 Procharger and intercooler. did the install myself, with varying levels of success....
i also installed a PLX Device Dm-6 multi-gauge with wideband O2 and boost monitoring.
Of course, most know I had a few minor issues and one significant issue since. The minor issue was, basically, I’m SHIT at installing hose clamps. Probably popped off 4 times (including during the re-tuning) before I went back over every clamp and tightened the fuck out of them. haven’t had a problem since, but it’s made me so gun-shy that I’m getting all the tubing redone by nelson performance soon.
The bigger issue was, since I got the procharger installed, I’ve had a check engine light for a bad MAF reading. I tried replacing the MAF, but that didn’t work. I took it over to nelson’s a couple of days ago to get it rewired….
but before they started wiring, they discovered that one little pin had a bit of corrosion on it. cleaned it up really well, replaced the connection on the connector side….and…
NO CEL.
