So as some of you know, I had a dude back into my truck 2 months or so ago and bust my pass tail light. I decided I wanted to go with candied sierra's, so I've been looking for some ever since. Weelllll, Ayayron hooked me up with a set that he had already candied!

Oh lol. It wasn't really a wreck. Dude just backed up too far and broke the light. He gave me $100 because I priced the most expensive single tail light I could find lol.

I hope so too. I wish I could help him more but I don't have that kinda $$. I found him a transfer case in Wisconsin, where he is broke down, for 750 then it's 450 for a shop to install it

Lmao. I was so confused when I got that tailgate from James. I thought the shit was fucked up and you had to have that for it to stay on. Then I realized what it was for haha.

Literally had to notch one small spot on 4 of the sockets on the lights and I was done.


The only difference was there no socket for the small light at the very bottom on the silvy harness. I just tucked it in before I put the lights in.

Ive been thinking about going back to my OE 99-02 tails on my white truck, and candy them.
I just don't like how dark they come out sometimes. Almost like they're tented.
The round profile of the lens fits my body lines better than the 03-07s do.

I still like the 03-07 tails but I think I prefer candied 99-02/sierra tails. Something about the oem but not quite oem look lol.

Happy with how it came out. Gotta buy new mirror glass..cracked both sides trying to get them out :ayfkm: but other than that I'm really digging the look. They aren't perfect but I wasn't even sure I would like it. I'll have these sprayed when I do the hood and grille along with the handle buckets and tailgate. Still need to find some fenders so I can tub them and get rid of that wrinkled passenger fender.
