Finally got a new valance and found a 06-07 that was already black so I wouldn't have to paint it and put the 3" 4WD lip on it also.... can't wait to put it on.

The old lip was 1.5" and it held up pretty good. My ole lady is the one who finished off my last valance I actually had the same one without problems since I slammed truck. Well see though if I tear it off I'll buy another ssh:

Where did you buy it? I got mine from Amazon but just the lip was like $60 iirc

Same. $56 for the lip and $124 for the valance. The original valance I ordered was only $44 but it was grey, standard shipping and you couldn't attach the lip to it. So I got a refund and ordered that one instead and it was a OEM one and have prime shipping.

Drilled & zipped. Will also be zip tied on truck and the three huge ties that pull up valance and attach to skid plate.

Haven't gotten valance on yet but will in a hour or two but look what Fogle brought......

Makes bumper look even worse. Will have to address that problem when I can but for a while it will be like that...

Will have to get better pic of the 3" lip when I get back, it's pretty close to ground but I think it will be okay as long as I'm careful with it like the last valance. Gf won't be driving it anytime soon lol...

Got the valance put on finally Friday and had everything ready to go to FL for 2 weeks but had to run to town to cash a check and pick up my camper tire I had checked for leaks.... truck drove alittle funny but didn't think much about it (already had oil changed and got it checked out that morning plus drove it a couple different places) Anyway when u went by my cousins tire shop to get tire I had him check brakes and he thought they were holding alittle but I said I'll drive to bank and see if is so I went and about didn't make it back. That was at 2 o'clock and me and him were both leaving at 4 so only thing we could do was lock truck inside shop and leave it. So I borrowed my parents burban and brought it and the car instead.... sad cause I replaced a bunch of engine parts before I came so I wouldn't have to worry lol but brake calipers decided to go out or master cylinder one....

It sure does.... but it also makes it noticable that the bumper isn't the same color lol...
