That's how Nelson performance does their's.

Interesting setup for sure. Not sure if I like how it looks, but to each their own if it works!

Here's what I did, just made the mount from 1/8 aluminum angle iron and welded on some tabs. Used msd plug wires from katech, actually had them premade in the right length for their valve cover mounts and about $30 cheaper than buying direct from msd.



I don't think heat is really an issue, because its not much hotter on the side of the engine block than on the valve covers.

I'm planning on shaving the other mounting posts off the covers, making them smooth, and powdering teal, but I got a lot of other things going before that happens
