bottom valence

I plan on getting my valence color match, was wondering if I should sand it down to look smooth or leave it textured? If I should sand it how do I go about sanding it?

Does not look as weird as you think.

Depends on color, I've seen it SB and it wasn't bad. But I've also seen it dark blue and victory red and looked weird AF

Just start with some 60/80 grit to knock the texture down then use 320, 800. That's what I did on my mirrors and they are smooth as a baby's ass lol.

I go 80 220 600. Wax and grease remover. Adhesion promoter.

im not huge on them painted because if your low and you catch a lip or a curb, it cracks the paint to shit.


what tony said is the best way if you want to do it.

I am low but my valence right now looks like shit because it faded and is grey.

the 06 valance is black, or you can use plastic dye on it and make it black. just throwing it out there

I used vht's bumper paint and left it textured. Came out looking factory. Doesn't look painted just looks like it was black since day one
