Finally found the head unit I think I will go with after hours of researching this morning. The "Carshow gm 1210". Looks like the best OE+ option and although it is on the high end in price, it should cover everything I want in a unit. I'll be placing my order thise week.

kay: Looks nice ayayron. I like the factory head unit. Only complaint is that it doesnt have Bluetooth. I started to put my pioneer dd in it but then i wouldnt have nav so im looking into other options for bluetooth.

Mike, unfortunately, there is a small crack by the passenger air bag.
Dakota, the factory unit not having Bluetooth is why I wanted aftermarket but didn't want a "universal/one size fits most" looking head unit. Wanted something that looked like it belonged there. Only complaints so far are that the finish on the unit is a little darker than that of the hvac and cig lighter panels and the chime module is pretty loud but I will wrap tape around the module and see if that makes it better.

They make a deal that plugs in with the xm brain to give you Bluetooth
