They said they're shot because when you push up on the lower control arms they compress and depress a little bit.
Do they move when you jack truck up and try to shake wheel and tire? Any clunking or popping?
Nothing like that. They feel pretty firm when jacking up and putting back down. I may take it to another alignment place and see if the original shop was just trying to rob my money and assume I'm an idiot and replace that shit when it's good anyways.
Will do that before blowing cash on parts that don't need replacing. But if they do, ain't but 50 dollhairs to replace lower balljoints I think
Best way to check lowers is to jack truck up and put a bar under the tire and lift up while you watch the balljoint

Lol if the control arm moves but the rest of it doesn't then there's play. Usually you can hear it very quietly if you jack it off the ground and put a bar under the tire and lift up. But it's a very faint sound
