Sold the Mustang already, found a truck that I couldn't pass up (got it for a steal), and now begins the process of cleaning it up. Not much info on it that matters, it's got lots of miles and is an SLE, but still packaged better than my old truck, and is actually in better condition.

Yes, it was bought with the rocky ridge shit, god awful 7.5" RCX, black and chrome 22x12s and chinese 35s. Those are major changes that'll happen after I get back from basic training. Plans are a dark blue powder on a 7-9 FTS with coilovers and 22x12 SF006-8 and 33x12.50 Toyos. Obviously it's getting the CGM treatment as well, some of which has started. I just installed 5" rear blocks that got me to about an inch of lean instead of nose diving, clear heads, removed all the rocky ridge shit, and installed some 2" rear spacers to even track width.

I kinda liked the mustang. Loved the color.

Look forward to seeing what you do with this.

IMO, could you not replace strut extension with a full coilover to get rid of "shittyness" of RCX?

Agreed, wouldnt swap lifts to run 12's n 33's. Would research ^^^

I've always liked FTS and I've always dreamed of having one (even if they aren't that expensive, beside coilovers). The RCX is admittedly not that bad, in terms of ride quality and angles, but I hate having a big ass strut spacer and I want damn near flat angles if possible, and that's not gonna happen with this lift unless I go down in the front which I don't want to do (as far as I know anyways, I haven't researched lifts/lift components hardly at all yet.) In terms of performance, I'm not doing shit to it unless it drops a lifter lol, I have a Volant CAI I got for a steal that I'm going to throw on, but other than that, tune and exhaust. Just want this truck to be clean and reliable.

Get some adjustable Bilsteins or Fox/whatever and leave it at least a little cranked/adjusted up. Flat angles look like shit IMO, it's like why lift the thing if you have that bigass xmember close to the ground. New struts, colormatch the valence/rear plastics, CM'd tows, light bar in the bumper hole, tune, exhaust, and LED lights IMO

Ordering all LEDs except brake lights and fogs on cyber Monday. Not doing a light bar. I didn’t think about adjustable bilsteins, that’s something I’ll consider. Not a fan of tows, so these will likely get matched and stay. Rest of the colormatch will happen around Christmas. Thanks dude!
