So a little back story. When I was 16 I bought my first truck which was a 1972 Chevy 3 Door Custom 20 Deluxe Suburban, I worked on it all through high school and ended up swapping the suspension for 5 lug half ton, did a 97 Tahoe Leather Interior swap (which back in that day was pretty damn new), and threw some Eagle 221's in 20's on it, bagged the front and had plans to bag the rear and finish the body and paint. Well that never happened and I slowly lost interest in the truck and ended up selling it. Back then I always wanted a C-10 panel to accompany the Suburban, well if any one here is familiar with the 67-72 GM pickup trucks, you would know that they didn't make a whole lot of Panel Delivery trucks. They were only made in this body style from 67-70 and they only made about 5000 of them for each of those years. Being almost 50 years old now, there's not a whole lot of them left in existence.
Here's the 72 Suburban Project that got me started in this whole mess...
With that all said, years after I sold the burb I came across someone selling a 69 C-10 Panel delivery in Porkland Oregon. The price was right and I just had to have it... I sent the money to the seller and arranged for a transporter to pick it up. It was a tired old 69 with the factory 327 and single barrel, and 3 on the tree converted to 3 on the floor. Factory buckets, and some really shitty paint.

So a friend of mine on the 6.7Cummins Forum saw my listing on Central Dispatch and saw that it was me listing it, called me and said he would swing by and bring it down. He had an empty spot on his trailer and was headed to LA anyways. I was in Mammoth on vacation and he was passing through to pickup another truck so I meet up with him and checked out the truck.
By the time I got home it was sitting there waiting for me, and that's where all the madness begins.
