2003 Silverado LT ECSB

Manual Selectable Ride (If Equipped)
The main function of this system is to provide superior
ride comfort while trailering or fully loaded, as well as
for unloaded driving. This system also helps to provide:
Improved trailering stability
Improved handling response when trailering or
fully loaded.

This button is located on
the center of the instrument
panel near the radio. Press
it to activate the selectable
ride setting as desired.
An indicator light near
the button will illuminate
whenever the system
is active.

It is recommended to use this system as follows:
For optimum ride comfort in an unloaded vehicle the
button should be out and the indicator light will not
be illuminated. This switch position indicates
NORMAL levels of*ride*control*or damping.
For optimum ride comfort when trailering, fully
loaded, driving off-road, or when personal
preferences demand more control the button should
be pressed in with the indicator light illuminated.
This switch position indicates FIRM levels of ride
control or damping.

Girlfriend looked in the manual lmao

Never played with it till I got out in the field tonight. With it off its a lot more squishy like a normal stock 2wd 1500
with it on its more stiff like a 2500
Steering wheel is more firm to the road around 60 mph too

And no I check that first. Heard that may be it. I read about some kind of magnetic shock set up on 2002-2003 Cadillac but it hadn't be done in a truck so that got wrote off

i just wanna know what it does.

Started looking a little closer and have a wire that plug into the top part of my shock. :/
does that mean i have electric shocks??
and do i have to have that or can i unwire those and put in normal shocks and just hide the wiring behind dash?

ehh its only temporary.

still on the search for 06 grille and hood.
going to check another yard later today.

Yeah but the one now was faded silver and I wanted to see what black looks like. So ill buy a black one instead of using painted.

Mike you think 4/7? If I did I'd have to get helpers for any trailer use correct?
And Cammed your truck is so shmexy!

I just don't want drag when I'm on the dirt road. But I kinda see no point in lifting a 2wd that is my DD I drive 45 minutes to work one way. Doesn't seem like a good idea.
I can get an oobs 4wd and lift that. I get 17-20 now. Don't wanna go lower lol.
Gonna start motor upgrades. Still contemplating the drop. What drop to choose??

I vote drop too lol. I remember you saying you didn't want to drop it before but if I could start over mine would probably be bagged by now with all the money I've blown on my lift shit. Lol
