Once the balancer, headers, and starter is on, it's just tedious wiring and making sure everything is in the right spots. Kinda a pain in the ass cause it's been so long since I took it all out lol.

Did you not clean the firewall while the engine was out?

I did. I pulled that sound deadener crap off the firewall expecting it to be black under it but it's like gray like they didn't spray that part at the factory so it looks dirty as fuck lol. Parts of it are still dirty, will get addressed.

Should have sprayed it black while motor was out
 
I expected it to be painted, it doesn't look terrible in person, still far better than that other shit that was on there. Motor is already In so oh well lol.

Hardware store closed before I got off so I couldn't get the bolts I needed, they're the only place in town that sell stainless flange head metric bolts lol. Tomorrow should be the day I hope.

Fired the truck up last night. Only for about 2 seconds though then I turned it off for the sake of my neighbors lol. It was about 1am and its open headers at the moment. We chased a ground problem for about an hour before we could get it to start. I'm lucky that was all it was though. Still need to extend the alternator wires today, clean up the injector wiring and make it all look pretty but other than that it's done. No nitrous has been hooked up yet and I'll probably work on that this week. I'm gonna get the exhaust halfass hooked up today and seat the rings on the motor after I upload a base tune. Will take vids :cheeky:

It's almost done. In the pics the alternator wires weren't extended yet so the plug is just sitting, they are now. Coil/injector wires need to be cleaned up and it needs to be tuned but the thing is done. Rubbed through a tranny cooler line and had to fix that. And I think the starter isn't aligned right but I can fix it.

Put some new shoes on the ol girl. 17x7/15x10 racestars and 315/60r15 et streets in the rear and some cheap 225/65r17 tires up front.

this thing is so cool. from just a daily to a pretty killer looking race truck in half a winter....that's not too shabby.
