01 Sierra Build

Just put the two new wheels on the driver side and the old wheels on the passenger side and roll like that.

I had a Predator on my NNBS for a while. Didn't really do much because they didn't have TCM support at that time. It was nice to be able to turn AFM off though. My custom tune was leagues better.

If I can find a deal on a predator for sale now that they have the intune out, I'll take it. I just like the fact that I can change back to stock by just pressing a few buttons instead of changing the entire computer out.

That's why I had it. It does have a matter of convenience to it. And Diablew is pretty good at doing "custom" tunes for LS cars/trucks.

:gnomesayin:

People rag on handheld tuners all the time, had one on the Silvy for the longest time and never had any issues with it.

x2 on this Tony. Purchased a Hypertech (seems as though everyone always bashes anything not Blackbear) and love it.

Way I look at it is like this, BB wants what $350 for tunes? I could get a used predator for around $150 and custom tunes from Lew I think are $200. Same price I know but its just the convenience factor for me. If I change gears, tires, shift timing, line pressure, TM, I don't have to wait for BB to send me a new computer. With the hand held, just go out to the truck and do it myself. Plus now most of them do data logging now too.

Not bashing BB at all, what they do is awesome and would recommend them to others. But the wait time if I want to change something just doesn't work for me.

Exactly. I was going to go to Baker Engineering up north from me, but they are not open during the weekends. That eliminated that option for me.
