01 Sierra Build

New Moog pitman and idler are on, rear axle is disassembled, idler brace is welded on and painted. Front diff is trimmed, test fitted, painted with primer/silver base/red. The half-shafts are painted with primer/silver base/red and all I have left to do is put another coat of red, then clear them and the front diff. The red came out looking sweet! I think it will look damn close to the powered parts. I was in a rush at the end to finish up, so I didn't get a chance to compare the parts or get any pics. :(

Looks fuckin good. What was the whole process for the diff? Just scuff then adhesion promoter then shoot?

Don't need adhesion promoter on bare metal. I wire wheeled as much of it as I could to get the dirt/junk off of it, for the sole purpose of just getting it clean. I used Krylon white primer, Krylon brilliant silver base coat, Krylon xmetal red and Krylon clear.

Fuuuuu looks so good!
