"Lowered trucks are useless"

The truck actually started right up after sitting untouched for 2 months, not bad for an Autozone battery. Bike is on the charger and will be getting worked on a bit, truck will be back in the storage unit in a day or two since they'll be salting the roads again soon.

Exactly how I got my bike home lol. I actually prefer using my truck to haul shit because it's easy to load being that low.

Yeah its a lot easier to unload alone than at stock height. Didn't drop it this year.

Also, you in Albany this time of year? Or did you not finish school yet? I'll be passing by Albany on the 4th and 9th, gonna be skiing in northern VT.

Yeah I'm done with school, so I'm in the area. I work both days, but if you're around or grabbing food let me know!

I should be passing by around dinner time on Friday night, once I know what time I'll be on the road I'll let you know.

We've had 10" of snowfall all season and I never even put my winter setup on the truck. I think you're good

But I totally understand, that's why I've only driven the truck on nice, sunny days

Yeah I don't think this truck has EVER seen salt, gonna keep it that way. You'll get to see the Tetanusmobile v2.0 though. If it makes it.

So truck stuff is on hold again, I bought another fucking car.

2000 BMW 323Ci, 5 speed, 186,000 miles, some cosmetic issues, and it needed a new passenger side lower control arm (which was sitting in a box in the trunk). Paid a friend's parents $2,000 for it. Came with the alloy 17s with good summer tires on them, and a set of 16" steelies with snow tires. Too good a deal to pass up. Plan is to get it mechanically sound, clean it up cosmetically, then throw it on craigslist with a high asking price while I use it as my DD and see how much I can get for it. I'd like to get into an AWD E46 wagon for the winter, but we'll see how things develop.

Who wants to buy the 4Runner?

So the Bimmer seems to be solid after replacing the LCA bushings, put about 2500 miles on it driving the shit out of it for work to get them mileage reimbursements.

My buddy agreed to buy the 4Runner from me, so that coupled with our fiscal year end bonus means I can start buying truck parts. Tires came in a week ago, I tinted the windows last weekend, and I just ordered two new upper ball joints for when I flip the UCAs. Gave the truck a quick wash for the first time since last summer too. Paint stuff should be happening soon, and I hope to tear down the 6.0 in the next few weeks. A couple buddies and I are going to the F1 race in Montreal in 2 weeks though so that'll slow things down a bit, but expect some cool pictures.

Truck halfassed clean
