I know there's only a couple screws that hold the base on. But does the wire have a disconnect close to the base? Last time I tried to get it out I just kind of pulled on it and wire wasn't budging, and I really didn't want to dissemble my interior at the time. I bought one of those cheap ones...

Did my LED interior, very happy with it and good work. Also installed a alarm/remote start, no complaints there either. All around great work.
