I am going to put a stereo in my 04. I am going to run these subs Rockford Fosgate R1S410 Prime Series 10" 4-ohm subwoofer at Crutchfield.com because its all i will need and they match my amp pretty decent. Now I am trying to decide between 2 boxes, the subthump box and the q-customs box, what are your thoughts?

Subthump box
03-06 GM Light Duty Crew Cab Dual Downfire Box

Q-customs box
Q-Customs Dual 10" Factory-fit Subwoofer Enclosure Fits 2001-07 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500 Crew Cab at Crutchfield.com

Man for what you are gonna pay for those r1s you can get p2s on eBay, better subs and handle more watts

I love p2s personally

because they are to deep for either box and i don't want to build one, the R1s are also match my amp pretty close

Gotcha makes sense

Yea, I'm not trying to be loud just want it to sound good and I have a few amps laying around. The sub amp is going to be an MTX8302 and speaker amp is going to be an MTX 4244 mounted behind the seat with the wires run behind the carpet. Didn't mean to sound like a dick before.

Nah man you're good, I didn't even take it that way

fuck building one again...well the way I had to do mine, I spent about the same as the subthump with cost of fiberglass.

There are a couple other options, but are they enough air space? That's why I had one built...
