i try to air it up with a cheap little compressor,

but that didn't work worth a fuck.

i have a spare, but i'm at work where i have access to a bit more than i would on the side of the road. so i enlisted the help for some of my shop friends lol. we put in a little fix-a-flat and roll out an air line from sheet metal shop. seemed to work so i hauled ass to NTB.

Since i was here...i had a couple of other things done. one was a new balance cuz the truck is a little bouncy over 65...and the second was the front right ALSO had a slow leak. oddly...we could find NOTHING wrong with the rear drivers tire...but we DID find a problem with the PASS front..

FML. lined up a repair for it....but they put some seal in that should hold for the next few days.

the balance was WAY fucked. they re balanced and it rides like it did on the stockers. woot. dudes were awesome at NTB though. i do recommend them for SATX peeps @adjusted

I'd drill a hole at the end of the crack before having it welded up as well to get rid of the stress concentration. I'd trust a repaired billet wheel more than a cast one, but still not sure I'd feel entirely comfortable.

I'm not too concerned with the repair. we have some decent places here in town that can do it. i don't know if it was cracked before or after i installed.

so u bought cheap rimpz and they broke?
Let's be a bit clear on this one. i bought rims of known quality for a low price...not cheap rims. Centerline has been around for a while and alot of people use their wheels with no problem. personally, i think the previous owner's ex wife bounced these bitches off a curb (based on the scaring on the inside) and either cracked them...or stressed them enough that they would eventually crack.

Damn that sucks, where you getting repaired? On the NTB note, the NTB at the Forum is the slowest bunch of monkeys ive ever had to an alignment on my truck, which one did you go to?
