weird LED issues

Start out with some info

its a 2003 GMC 1500, i have VLED switch backs in the front, the flasher relay changed to prevent hyperflash, and silvy tails. and LED's in the reverse lights, not that it effects this.

i want to put LED brake light and blinker bulbs.

i got the dual stage LEDs for the rear, when i put them in my parking lights blinker lights in the mirros and all that shit stay on, and i dont have blinkers or brake lights or anything else.

if i wire resistors to all of the rear lights of them the switchbacks never turn on as well as the rear running lights.

if i wire resistors to just the top brake lights, the switch backs stay orange,

anyone else have switch backs and LEDs in the rear? experiance anything similar? how is yours ran?

i just had this similar problem but only on the driver side of the truck, but its because i did the drl delete mod and didn't use a 3 wire socket.

something seemed to be putting power back in the system but only when it was dark and my headlights where on.

but since you have 4hi mod your headlights are always on i assume ?

true i forgot to mention that.

this is with just the parking lights on, so nothing to do with the headlights.

and if i put regular bulbs in the tail lights for the brakes and shit, it works perfectly fine.

I started having issues with my rear signal and brake leds, so I went back to incandescent bulbs and the issue went away. I'm not too concerned with figuring it out, I really don't need leds back there.

thats what i always end up with is back with normal bulbs. if i got them to be LED, then i wouldnt have any reg bulbs left on the truck
