i had Saturday mostly to myself...and even though it was hot, it was overcast.

2 bucket wash with Adam's shampoo. after the rinse, i misted the truck with detail stray and dry. when i was drying, i noticed i had some spots on the bed fender that look like splatter from wheel detailing. add that with a few water spots on the hood...and i decided to clay bar and re-wax the whole truck.
Start: 6:00 pm
Finish: 8:30 pm

Stop being such a slob with your metal polish, Olaf.

it would NOT scrub off with the mf pad. even the clay bar took a tad more effort than i thought it should have.

Oh, just asking if it's a 2010 Chevy "Box" Silverado with a 454 engine??

Next time, try some BG on a towel on a clean surface to hit those marks first. That's dried polish is all. Some times clay will not touch it, or just smear it. The solvent in BG can act like a cleaner to remove that stuff. OR if you have Revive from AP (smurfy looking polish), that'll KO it right quick. Stll need to wax after, but for that would be less work.

I wanted to clay tho. first time with new truck.

this weekend i decided to attack Renee's dodge. BIG MISTAKE LOL. this think hasnt been washed in probably 2 years. it took FIVE buckets and 2 hours of washing alone to get it halfway decent.

I feel it's a little cloudy. It's the same shine since I first started and the same technique since I first started. I want something that's a little brighter.

NuVite. GlossIt has some decent stuff but I never knew if it made it to market, as the stuff I had was "super secret tester".

Maybe those that have a 4 day weekend will take advantage of it

I just get sick of seeing Advertisements in a Sub-Forum when a Vendor already has their own space for such things.
