Tailgate cap question

Just trying to figure out if the holes on this cap match up to the ones on the stock cap with the notches

Looks like it from the picture. Pretty sure that was where the holes on my stock cap were when I shaved my gate....never swapped it though

Only reason I ask is because I talked to the dealer and they said it didn't match up

The NNBS doesn't on a NBS you can either use double sided tape or drill new holes and put new mounts for them
