My truck:
04 ccsb 2wd silver birch
COILOVERS
3.5" block in rear only
16x8 black rims (mistake [3.5" bs])
285/75/16 Dueler revo2s (mistake #2)
12" Dynomax Bullet (dumped) sounds awesome
k&n (meh)
corvette servo
cleared headlights
debadged and demolded
Denali cluster
Single din radio with stock Bose system
Blackbear tune
Ls1 E-fans, bb harness
Tractor Supply Toolbox
1.5" rear spacers from jvoisel
random dent/scratch mod
06 valance
Stainless Brake Lines
Springtech UCAs
things to do:
fix dents
fix ambient temp sensor
driver side inner tie rod
maybe rack and pinion
ptm bumper cap and mirror caps and handles
black bowtie? ptm chrome center grille bar
Maybe new lower control arms when my lower bj's go out and reweld new mounts and make it look pretty.
came from 3" spindle and 2" daystar spacer
to this Procomp 7" Lift:
To current coil over setup:
Process was:
Buy some steel plates 3/8" thick
Buy rough stuff lower mounts
Buy shock stem eliminators (had to grind down the tabs a little for shock clearance)
Get Coilovers: 6.5" travel Fox 2.0's with 14" King springs with 600# spring rate
Cut and weld plate over the hole in the lower control arm
weld lower mount as far to the outside of the vehicle on the plate as possible.
Bolt all the other shit up.
We also had to make our own spacers for the shocks in the mounts since nothing came with them.
All 1/2" hardware, the top of the stem eliminator that goes the the existing top shock hole needs to be 3/8" and it's all grade 8
As of now I need to get the driver side coil over apart and check the oil, it is making the squeaking/creaking noise I've been trying to nail down.
