I've been searching around for a new DD to wheel for the winter since I'm trying to keep the salt off of my RCSB. I was fine with either a nbs/nnbs 4x4 Sierra/Silverado CCSB, an avy or a Tahoe/Yukon, basically something I could put my 2 dogs in. I found this on the local CL over the weekend and bought it last night.
Specs:
- 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe LT 4x4 5.3L
- 138,500 miles (221,600
- Basically stock minus some chrome trim
- Has new water pump, brakes, and freshly under coated for winter in the last 1k mi
- The only thing it needs is a passenger fog light lens
Plans:
- nnbs GMC 20" with 275/60/20 Cooper Zeon LTZ (from rcsb)
- Windshield brow tint 2.5% or 5%
- BlackBear Tune
- Clear signal housings and different tails
- Debadge/Demold and remove steps
- Little bit of PDR for 2-3 minor door dings
- Crank stock keys/swap to ford keys eventually*
- HD hood if I can find one
- Painted flares
- Painted handles
- Painted mirror caps
- Painted bumper plastics
- Painted grille, billet inserts and bow tie
