Project RATOUTAHELL SCSB
Hey Guys! I am new to this forum and figured I would post on my new project. I have never built a 2WD truck before so this is a first for me.
My plans are to build this into a pro-touring / pro-street truck that is streetable and fun. I plan a future pro-charged LS3 engine swap but the stock 4.8 will have to do for now.
Here is what the truck looks like when I bought it 2 weeks ago
Here are some pictures of some parts I have started to gather.
The rear tires are Mickey Thompson 31x18.00x20 S/R and the front are Toyo Proxes S/T 275/40R20's.
I got a narrowed Ford 9" rear end that is loaded with a Yukon third member, Richmond 4.33 gears, 35 spline Strang spool, and 6-lug 35 spline Moser Extreme axles. I will be converting the axle to accept the factory rear disc brakes.
I have installed a new Goodmark cowl hood, new headlights, and new tail lights. I am currently lowering the front with 3" drop springs and 2" drop spindles.
I will start putting the new rear end and four link suspension in once I receive the wheels.
