I have a pioneer d3 in my truck, installed the gps antenna and got the navigation disk about 2 months ago. Worked great, went to use it last week, and it cant tell where I am, it knows if I make a right turn or a left turn and how far I'm traveling, but it thinks I'm in brooklyn, and I'm way south of there.

I tried reseting the settings, and it didnt do anything. Pulled the fuses, and pulled all the wires out of the head unit, installed them again, and now its like it doesnt see the satellite, because it doesnt have the time anymore.

Anyone have similar issues, I cant imagine that the antenna went bad after 2 months and only using the thing 5 times.

I had a same problem like that on my avic-x920bt..and it did end up being the gps wire...
 
Yeap mine said the same shit..wire not connected...and had a week with it...i guess when i was putting dd back in place i must have stretched wire and was not on pin like should...try to fix it but made.it worst lol...just got one from ebay for 10 bucks..since no problems at all
 
thread jack, how do you get that stupid message to stop popping up, I dont have a damn dvd in the HU, so why does that shit pop up every 5 seconds?
 
something to do with watching dvd's while driving... I know there is the mod to bypass, but I dont even have it on dvd mode...
