OBS 'Burban drop options

My brothers friend is wanting to lower his 'Burban at least 2/4 to get rid of some gap. It's 2wd with 265/35/22 tires. I know he can do spindles in front but I'm unsure about the rear as I don't know much about them. Do they use leaf springs? Maybe do a hangar/shackle combo?

Yes they do use leafs in the back, beyond that I'm not going to be any help.

get under it and look, if it has a factory block, remove the block and put a shackle and your done.
