I bought some katzskin covered seats to install in my RCSB, however, my truck did not come with this option. I need to know how to go from non-power basic work truck seats to power seats in a 2008 GMC Sierra. Anyone know what wire to tap or what to do to get the power seats to work?

These are the type seats I'm currently trying to get the power to work on.

Thanks in advance!

All you need to do is run power and a ground to the seat track. I forget what color the wires are on the connector. They are the two biggest ones. I do not know what to tell you about a connector

Randy (lowlife08/shibbby) said the big red and big black are the power and ground. Will be trying that here in a few.

Didn't mess with passenger side, got drivers side hooked up and it was actually plug and play however it only goes up and down and not back and forth :/ little part on it is messed up/bent. Tried getting it to work but gave up and just bolted them in, might have to take the katzskins off and put them on my old seats and use them.

I need to either find a way to fix these power seats first, decide to live with them as is, or take the covers and put on my old seats.

This jumpseat has leather and I also have a 3-cup console its just the wrong color. Trying to sell the 3-cup console and get a full one. I also have a custom console I could finish.

Switching the covers is not hard at all the worst part is the headrest covers but you do not have to do that. I will check I think i have some seat tracks laying around for nnbs send me pictures of the parts you need

Ill get you some better pics soon. It's the little rod coming from the motor, it a little bent and not turning the gears to move the seat back and forth
