Has anybody ran the 555 before? I'm on the hunt for some 285/35/22 and was leaning towards these. Anybody have any other suggestions they recommend?

my dad has them on his firebird it sees very little mileage so no advice there. When they are cold they are very slippery but warmed up they hold power pretty good

nice looking tire, never seen anyone running em. I still like the NT420 wayyy better though, although I hear they can wear fast as well. What kinda deal you getting on them?

I hate the tread pattern on the 420s it looks goofy imo lol and I have also heard they wear really fast too a buddy of mine had the 555s and he said they hold power pretty good and handle good wet so I went ahead and got them ordered 860 for all 4.. my cousin just paid 980 for the 420s in a 285/45 so I'm happy

Had a set on my first mustang and my buddy's got em on his Cobra. They're great all around tires, cold you can break them loose pretty easy but that's any tire for the most part, warm they have lots of grip (alotta guys run the 555Extremes for drag tires), they're great in the rain and they wear good too. They usually rate pretty low in tire tests just because there are better "performance" or "wet" or "daily" tires. These don't do anything perfectly, but the do everything very well. Would buy again

BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW-2, I absolutely loved mine, great traction in all conditions, exceptionally grippy in wet weather. I have mine sittin in the shop if you want to buy em :cheeky:

I'll be keeping my Texas editions I bought them from discount tire direct on eBay. I'm getting the Denali 22s (ck375) to hold me over till I get billets

I wanted ltz 22s at first but then I'm like yea same wheel just bigger? Nah I've been on these almost as long as I had the truck lol

I ran 555r drag radials, great traction for the 100 or so street miles I put on them. Not sure how similar the regular 555s are to them though.

does discount tire direct still come with free install, balance, and rotate, or is that store not associated with the discount tire shops? you doing the chrome CK22s, ir another finish? imo brushed wheels look killer on your truck

Yea chrome I saw a set of black chrome and it looked pretty cool but I talked to the dude I'm buying them from and he said they start to look funny after a while... I thought about running the other machined accessorie wheels they're a 10 spoke I believe but I want some chiney wheels again lol
