My friend got a new GTI and wanted me to detail it. Of course he didn't stop them from doing the "complimentary wash" before delivery. So i had a good bit to fix, not terrible.

Here's a series of pics of the process.

My collection (still need a lot more)

Started with a nice foam with a hint of APC

Right after the wash, i clay'd it real quick. No pics of the clay as it really wasnt that bad. So i got right into the polishing. It only needed a pass with Fine Machine Polish so i was excited, this could go smoothly.

Once i completely get the car polished i throw on some Quick Sealant.

Once i did that i wanted to finally use my Brilliant Glaze. After this i used Buttery Wax to top it all off. Backed it out of the garage and put SVRT on the tires, undercarriage spray in the fenders and the owner was impressed. I thought it turned out great.

I loved this color, the interior was 100% factory and brand new, quick wipe down and vacuum and it was good to go.

Nice work :shake: I need to get some quick sealant. Need to pull my polisher out during spring break and practice more. I never seem to get a good process down to get all the swirls out :/

Great job Sam. That paint is crystal clear now!

Always a victory when paint cleans up with just one pass of Fine Machine Polish, huh?!?
