Hey everyone! I'm new here, looking for ideas for my first truck. I would rather have a '96-'98 1500 Z71 ext. cab but pops won't let me get a 4x4 so I'm going after a NBS 1500 5.3. Any suggestions, ideas, comments. Also, I can't figure out how to change my profile picture. Help?

Lol, I love that old truck. and since I can't have a lifted 4x4, I'm definitely going with a street truck look. And thanks for the picture help!

can't have 4x4 at all unless I buy it :mad: but then I have to buy parts when something breaks, pay for insurance and deal with dad's, "I told you so." when something breaks.. So I'd rather just have a nice, reliable 2wd

Thanks everyone! And since I won't be getting my truck until later this year, I figured I'd share my brother (Daniel)'s truck. This is the truck I've put MANY hours in to with him and although it's not a show truck, it's a pretty sweet truck. Keep in mind it's his dd and his toy!
