I've got a 08 silverado single cab and been looking at drop kits and i want to go with 3/5 and my ? is can achieve a 3" drop up front by using a 1" drop spring and the strut relocator since it equals a 2" drop... Now on to the rear it already has 2" drop shackles with the stock block removed making a 3" drop. So by running a flipkit in the rear would i need to put the stock shackles back on??? Ive searched for days trying to find answers and couldn't so figured i'd just ask.... Thanx in advance for all info / help!

You cant really count the stock blocks being pulled in with your drop since they make the rear sit higher stock..with the block pulled it just sits level.
On to your question, a flip kit will give you 6" of drop with stock shackles.
flip with shackles at 1" would be 7" drop.
flip with lift shackle would be 5" drop

then why are flip kits 7 inch drop when in reality its just a 6 inch flip kit with the block removed? lol
