My antenna won't come off!!

Do this afternoon I went to swap out my antenna for a smaller one and it won't loosen up from the base. It just keeps spinning and the base is circular so I can't find anything that'll keep it from spinning with the antenna. A two minute job turned into an hour of frustration.

Any suggestions?

lol... I had the same problem when I went do do my Antenna delete... unbolted base from truck.

All my vise grips were too big to grab the small part that was still spinning. I went ahead and ordered another base for twenty bucks.
