I figured I would kinda combine my audio build from a few years back in to this as an all in one thing.

Removed old amp rack and trim all the way up to the front seats. I managed to get 2 layers on the rear wall. I also got 1 layer (all i am doing here) on the rear floor!

Snapped a few pics! This shows the floor...so you know i did the rammat up to the front seats and center console just didn't get a pic

Half way...

1 roll of rammat got me here!

2 layers on rear wall
1 layer on the rear floor (up to center console)
1 layer on the outer skin of ext. cab doors
Part of the way through the inner skin on one ex. cab door

Ugly factory harness before
DSCF2172.jpg

After cleaning up the factory harness (going to get some ties to stick it to the wall)
DSCF2175.jpg

I feed the wires through under the seat to keep everything out of my doorsills!
DSCF2178.jpg

DSCF2177.jpg

I tried to keep the wires nice and neat! Ty-raped everything together to where they were going. I'm still going to get some black covers for the all wires... DOn't judge me yet!

This is how many holes are in the ext. cab door... Note the hole where i don't use a speaker in the ext. cab doors!
DSCF2200.jpg

After Rammat and aluminum screen door mesh over the holes! I doubled aluminum up and used self taping screws to screw them to the door!
DSCF2201.jpg

Front door with all the big holes again!! LOL

THOSE doors take forever!

I was taking my time because i din't want to rush and mess up nothing! Gonna start on the pass side tomorrow:rolleyes:

more pics...
DSCF2205.jpg

I took the factory straps for the wire harness out and used sticky backs and tie raps instead. That cleaned it up alot!

OEM's in the doors!

I took some more detailed pics... So you could see the aluminum screen I used for the the holes.

Thanks guys! I am thinking about going 36/15.50/20 MTZ's this time around. Every body else who made a size I wanted stopped making them already so!

I know it isn't a mod per say! Just ordered some adjustable tire deflators for the beach(fishing) season this year.

Also got some rear frame plugs too...

I could really use some more power couldn't we all! These 5.3L are very long lasting and dependable and it WILL be a long time before my engine has any trouble. If I was gonna do a swap it would be the LS3 crate motor.

So, the plan is to have about 500hp at the motor:

comp XR281HR .571/.573 LIFT, 228/230 DURATION split, 112LSA

Heads: TFS GenX 205

Intake: FAST LSXR

TB: FAST 102mm

I am a newbie with engine stuff and I know it is gonna take some saving up, but worth it in the end. I know I will need a dyno tune and I am missing some things too. I know some people on here are a lot smarter than I!

thanks for ANY tips or advice.

Truck is probably one of my favorite lifted ecsb nbs truck man. Couple things I would do for perfection. Paint mirrors fully or painted caps. Paint rear bumper and paint front chrome bumper. And that stle of exhasut exiting with the tips on both side is so appealing to me. Truck is dead on great man. :shake:

Yeah that is what i plan on doing is getting the chrome front/rear painted pewter. I had some tows that i sent to get painted BUT never heard from the guy again! So still need to get some more of those at some point!
